In a letter to Housing and Urban Development ( HUD) Minister Pratap Jena, Odisha Development Forum president Ram Prasad Tripathy has demanded to install lighting facility in various roads at the outskirts of Brahmapur city. He said now the city is growing very fast in its nearby rural areas but without proper lighting facility. Not only the new settlements are coming up at the outskirts of the city, but also various educational institutions, establishments, hospitals, industries and offices of organizations are coming up in nearby locations, which are coming under Brahmapur Development Authority (BDA).
