In a letter to Shri Pratap Jena, Hon’ble Minister H&UD, government of Odisha, President of Odisha Development Forum, Ram Prasad Tripathy demanded to install lighting facility in various roads at the outskirts of Berhampur city. He said now Berhampur city is growing very fast in its nearby rural areas but without proper lighting facility. Not only the new settlements are coming up at the outskirts of Be rhampur city, but also various educational Institutions, establishments, Hospitals, Industries and offices of organizations are coming up in nearby locations of the city which are coming under Brahmapur Development Authority (BDA). Prof.  Prahallad  Panda was an extraordinary academic, writer, author, columnist and a communicator par-excellence who fought throughout his life for the backward region of Southern Odisha.
