NEWS COVERAGE IN THE "NEW INDIAN EXPRESS" ON ODF's DEMAND FOR GOOD LIGHTING FACILITY IN THE SUBURBS OF BRAHMAPUR CITY

Lack of proper lighting in the suburbs of Silk City Brahmapur, which are fast developing into prime residential and urban mixed-use zones, has raised consternation among the citizens.
Drawing attention of Housing and Urban Development Minister Pratap Jena, a citizen’s body 'Odisha Development Forum' has called for immediate steps to ensure proper street lighting as well as illumination of other vital places on the suburbs of Brahmapur city.
The ODF president Ram Prasad Tripathy demanded installation of high-mast lighting at locations like Gopalpur junction, Jaganathpur junction, Lajipalli NH, Auto Nagar and good lighting facility between bypass flyover to Gopalpur, Haladiapadar junction to Palur Hills and Jaganathpur junction to Parala Maharaja Engineering College and Gate Bazar to Nimakhandi etc on urgent basis.
